Luke Rogers (Jeremy Jones, Decision) youth was deep rooted in his family's faith but choices of his father Bill (John Schneider, What Would Jesus Do?) started him down a different path. As a young adult, Sam (Jason Burkey, October Baby) and Rose (Jenna von O?, Blossom) pull him farther from the Christian path as his relationship with his girlfriend Jesse (Nicole Gale Anderson, Jonas) becomes strained. 基督教信仰被夸大和极力宣扬，有种去洗脑他人的目的性感觉，不舒服。作为福音传播的一种形式，可取。不过从电影的角度，精神救赎的过程单一和简单，毫无悬念可言。情节也是，处理得很草率。最后马修呢？他的救赎呢？似乎被人遗忘了。
