改编超过原著。大概很大的一个原因是放大了原著中一个概念 ：魔法能让你本来乱糟糟的生活变得优雅愉悦么？不能。不论有无魔法，活着的本体不变，而作为本体，你总是能将生活活得一塌糊涂。这也就成其为人，在欲望与安宁中折腾不止。Human Beings are a mess.

第三季的亮点在于penny和Eliot penny的灵魂脱离和fillory的“烂摊子” 怎样解决强制入侵的精灵王族 伴随着7把钥匙的探索 整个故事结构也更生动 他们在魔法消失的环境下 做着各种努力 但也有故事讲着讲着就丢失了线 不过这一季比上一季有趣多了
