剧情不够，狗血来凑。这题材还需要东拉西扯也是醉了，强行植入疑似Popish Plot, 然而这不仅是十几年后的事儿，而且本来就是捏造的好不好！这帮演员估计都不好意思承认自己演过这个剧。Pepys演得还行（然而编剧肯定没好好看他的日记），此外大概也就Charles II（虽然矮了点）和James II的颜值还能看。

CCTV6不按常规套路出牌，电影频道播电视剧，好吧，跟人电视剧频道抢生意呢。不过这长度也是坑，说一集是一部电影吧又太短，两集当一部故事又衔接有问题。有人喜欢二战前的英国。大概像我们喜欢民国以前。
