Selden, the Notting Hill murderer escaped from Princetown prison in Dartmoor, is a character took from the Arthur Conan Doyle's novel T he Hound of the Baskervilles (1901). This short film cover the period from his escape to his death, killed by the hound of the Baskervilles, showing his survival in the Grimpen moor, his communication method with the Barrymores, etc.
