Rooms

Alternating images of a young dancer moving within the confines of a small windowless room--and an elderly woman rising from bed, dressing, leaving her apartment, and disappearing down an alley. In voice-over we hear the old woman struggling to remember the physical details of a bygone home. Her slow inevitable movement contrasts with the dancer's youthful energy, but both are seeking release to an unspecified destination. A meditation on memory and mortality.
