A two-screen projection for exhibition in art galleries. We will shoot this artwork with super 16mm black and white, focusing on light and shade, in an empty studio, or a bare stage in New York City in May this year.
The work aims to catch an internal state—a man’s struggle with his imagination as he keeps and holds together the expected and the unexpected.
With two simple human gestures, letting go and receiving, we witness a casual, unexpected moment with a stranger that cuts through expectation and certainty and at the same time allows room for surprise.
One of the finest actors of his generation UK actor Ben Whishaw will star in this project.
