缝耳

Julián (Pedrito Fernández) is an orphan fostered by Ramón (Resortes). They work together in a ranch. The owner of the ranch is a bitter man Andres whose main concern are horse races. Among his horses he has "Oreja Rajada" ("Shredded Ear") and India, his favorite. Candy (María Rebeca Zepeda), Andrés' daughter, befriends Julián, and both kids pet Oreja Rajada. Andrés doesn't like Oreja Rajada, and after an accident he decides to kill him. The kids and Ramón, who love the horse, run away stealing him, to prevent him being killed. Not long after that the police finds them. During the trial Candy proves that his dad gave the horse to her, and the judge grants her permisssion to do whatever she wants with the horse. She then gives it to Julían. Julián and Ramón try to make a new life for themselves, but JUlián misses Candy a lot, so they decide to race "Oreja Rajada" at an aniversary race organized by Andrés. Helped by Candy's mom, they bet being hired again by Andrés and a place for the horse in the ranch, in addition of a big amount of money provided by Candy's mom. Oreja Rajada wins the race and Andrés honores his bet, but forbids Candy and julián to meet each other ever again. During a fire in the stables India, Andrés' favorite horse is saved by Ramón, but gets injured and is unable to race, and Candy suggests to his dad to race Oreja Rajada instead. Julián is the one to mount him. They win, so Andrés comes to terms with Ramón and Julían, for a happy ending. As usual Pedrito sings a few songs during the movie.
