剧情介绍
Fonda and Woodward are in fine form in this sly western comedy. Fonda plays an ex-gambler who arrives with his wife (Woodward) in the town of Laredo just as the big card tournament begins. He enters the game, and gets the hand of a lifetime. Only before he can finish the hand, he suffers a heart attack. When his wife takes his place, the now-penniless woman has some fancy talking to do to stay in the game. And ya gotta love that surprise ending.

剧本不俗，演技不俗，Henry Fonda一出场还显得三观正常，不一会其形象就彻底洗牌，那副赌瘾上来没底线的神情真是醉了，不论是角色骗子还是演员本身的演技都技惊四座，Joanne Woodward扮演的“妻子搭档”前后反差之大，其演技正好和Fonda对照，2人一前一后十分精彩。。。
