The coming of age tale of Amalia, a precocious 11 year old girl, on the brink of puberty, back-dropped by early 90s day to day life in a small village in Israel. Through Her eyes, we encounter a tale of adolescence and separation. Amalia finds herself in a turmoil on the return of her uncle, a charismatic and handsome man of 35, after years in Paris, suffering from a mysterious illness. A unique friendship, based on mutual acceptance, gradually forms between the two.
