Porter's sequential continuity editing links several shots to form a narrative of firemen responding to a house fire. They leave the station with their horse drawn pumper, arrive on the scene, and effect the safe rescue of a woman from the burning house. 开头淡入淡出气泡式联想 马车部分太长显得喧宾夺主 连续性剪辑版本叙事自然 但略平淡 重剪版镜头按照时间顺序叙事 突破了固定空间 是交叉剪辑的鼻祖
