导演Peter Rosen被问及为何要拍关于海菲茨的纪录片，而不是某些同样有名的钢琴家或大提琴家。Rosen答曰：我发现在音乐圈里对谁是最伟大指挥、谁是最伟大钢琴家、谁是最伟大歌唱家等等都有争论，但对于谁是最伟大小提琴家是没有争论的
