比起第一部，最明显的变化就是短片数量骤增，篇幅不一，好坏参杂，有的不明所以。万圣节的主题出现在一两个短片中，剩下的则是没什么关系的恐怖故事，和第一部一样，主线剧情完全多余，不如删掉。但也继承了优良传统，就是小孩惨死镜头毫无避开。
