Yokkaichi, a industrial city in full boom. Working in a grand entreprise, Jiro Tezuka knows Harumi in a motorway cafe. 　　"Le Rouge et le noir from Stendhal inspired me to writte the scenario. Dying to be free - this romanticism that today nobody is capable to assume. I wanted that this film run with its speed, as if its action could be turned into a drawning, culminating not on a clich閐 catharsis, but liberated precisely of that narration."
