剧情介绍
A botanist accidentally unearths the body of a recently buried professor who was fixated upon solving a seemingly impossible riddle by Lewis Carroll. The victim had a long-standing rivalry with his brother - giving Lewis and Hathaway an obvious suspect - but the case is hindered by the mind games of two students who seem intent on causing trouble in their quest to gain admittance to a mysterious club.

第六季的精彩开篇！题材诗意，台词考究，情节引人，Lewis回忆亡妻及指出Hathaway孤独一人两段很打动人心，案情真相也是温情大于意外，推理上Lab H的解答是典型的Lewis风格，小怪人和老夫人的两条副线为本集增色不少，不足在于第二起死亡完全是凑数，破坏了整体氛围。

我能说前面的大半部分是迄今最精彩的一集么？精巧的情节安排真的让它看起来像一首谜一样的诗，只可惜结尾不免俗套。Death and annihilation, you can't say it is sadder for the self or for the caring.,,vanishing away or bereavement...We are going on a Snark hunt.

通过这集了解了植物学里的Doctrine of signatures以及看到温室里的各种绿植，才发现不论刘易斯还是摩斯还是小摩斯都特别注种室内绿植的摆放，布景师真是太热爱英式园艺了，牛津几乎被各色鲜花包围，警署、医院、课堂等。。
