捷克人民的一版灰姑娘，从视听上就融入了不少捷克当地的风情。整体故事其实大家都非常熟悉，但是现在来看仍然会被这样一个美丽的爱情故事所打动，自是因为善良、美好和爱情是永不过时的永恒主题。人们在现实中的失落，于银幕童话中得到了满足。本片是捷克等国每年圣诞都要观看的例行传统，导演沃利契克今年去世，怀念他。
