The film tells the story of the comfort women we weren’t aware of, and not of the comfort women for the Japanese army that we immediately think of when we hear “comfort women”. It talks about how the state's control and exploitation of women's body did not stop in the Japanese comfort women system, and the inequality that it caused by settling in the Korean society.
