Blues by the Beach

Israel is a place where daily life is both glory and affliction. A paradise of splendor and history set against a backdrop of sunshine, beaches, and war. Blues by the Beach focuses on the bartenders, waitresses, and regulars of a music bar called Mike's Place. Guides to an Israeli Experience, they still laugh, dance, and listen to music even though ever-present danger looms near. On Wednesday, April 30th, 2003 tragedy struck Mike's Place.
