剧情介绍
Darcey Bussell explores the dancing legend that is Fred Astaire, uncovering stories of the series of strong women that shaped and influenced him throughout his life and career.
His story begins with the influence of his stage-struck mother, Ann, who thrust five year old Fred onto the stage as a convenient partner for his older sister, Adele, with whom he danced for 27 years. Darcey goes on to explore perhaps the most famous and recognisable woman in Fred's life, Ginger Rogers.
Despite only making 10 films together, it was this partnership that cemented Fred Astaire's fame and legacy. Darcey uncovers how despite being renowned as one of history's greatest dance duos, Fred hated sharing the limelight, and following his partnership with Ginger resisted partnering with one leading lady too many times, though he went on to dance with some of Hollywood's greatest stars including Audrey Hepburn, Rita Hayworth and Judy Garland.
This film also shines a light on the star's later years and his personal relationships with both his first and second wives, Phyllis and Robin.

so inspiring! 虽然依然讨厌浮夸的纪录片手法。看到la la land和当时的对比很感动,想到了音乐之声在雨里跳的一段,以及最后的反重力,真有才啊。
