Katabui, au coeur d'Okinawa

Katabui，沖繩方言，指在極小的局部地域，從極度晴朗瞬間刮起狂風暴雨的突發性天氣現象。本片以此作為沖繩乘載美軍基地的隱喻。儘管沖繩必須容納外來者的存在，承受著萬物的變幻無常，卻保持其韌性與生命力。
　　導演Daniel López在沖繩定居數十年，從旅人的視野轉向在地，本片是他首部紀錄長片，以散文般的流暢敘事與哲思，側寫沖繩在地人物，從生到死的歲時祭儀，從美軍基地抗爭到民謠即興現場，政治、記憶與文化融為一爐，生動呈現沖繩的今日樣貌與歷史流轉。
