An obituary of the Israeli military and political leader Ariel Sharon.
The film tells the story of his life and how it intersected with all the major moments in Israel's history, from fighting the British, the foundation of Israel, the formation of Unit 101 and the Qibiya massacre, the Six Day War, the Yom Kippur war, the building of settlements, his election to Minister of Defence, the invasion of Lebanon, the massacre at Sabra and Shatila, the second Intifada, Sharon's election as Prime Minister, the withdrawal from Gaza and the founding of Kadima.
The film discusses his legacy and recounts what has happened to Israel in the eight years he has been incapacitated up to his death. The film features interviews with political rivals from around the world, as well as family friends and colleagues from Sharon's military past.
