麦加同志

本片是印度導演帕維茲沙馬，繼《愛的苦尋》獲都靈同志影展最佳紀錄片的肯定後，再度挑戰伊斯蘭世界的禁忌之作。對身為一個穆斯林來說，一生至少要去一次麥加；但對身為同志的他，此行將帶他經歷觸犯伊斯蘭禁忌的生死關頭中。透過這個秘密拍攝的自傳性朝聖之旅，影像滲入四千萬的穆斯林中，從和平朝拜到血腥好戰份子，皆一一詳實地記錄下來。

But for gay filmmaker Parvez Sharma, making such a documentary presents two serious challenges: filming is forbidden in the country and homosexuality is punishable by death. It is literally a life or death situation as he enters with an iPhone and two smuggled, tiny cameras. On this journey, he joins 4 million other Muslims, from peace-loving pilgrims to brutal jihadists, to show the rest of the world this awe-inspiring pilgrimage and city that has been forbidden to non-Muslims for 14 centuries.
