收录于全金属弹壳的DVD花絮中。之前的很多越战电影经常要去菲律宾等地实景拍摄，可库布里克不愿出国，就在伦敦郊区的一个废弃场地取的外景，所以本片中基本就没出现丛林的战斗戏。这是个明智的方法，不然就按老库那便秘一般的拍片速度，去了东南亚估计要搞得比现代启示录还惨。
