就纪录片本身来说拍得非常平实，明星演员出镜讲解大概是最具娱乐性的亮点。对个人而言，分析亨利四五那集比较实用，确有醍醐灌顶之效。不过排序有点问题，《暴风雨》放在最后一集讲更说得通。另外还有一个疑问：《哈姆雷特》的原型出自丹麦史籍，纪录片只谈他和莎翁之子Hamnet的关系似有不妥。
