老太太的风格估计是没办法让所有人喜欢的。但真的特别生动，越看也越是觉得老太太是真心喜欢古罗马的文化，才能从这样一个不宏大不高屋建瓴的角度讲诉古罗马普通人的生活，带出古罗马的方方面面。

片头用了庞贝壁画，还有很多俯拍镜头，好好看。介绍的古迹在耶鲁大学公开课《罗马建筑》里都讲过。第二集片头的古罗马文明博物馆已于今年2月开始临时关闭进行重建。
