The spy business end of NTEK was shut down, and this puts the NTEK agents out of a job. With the threat that if they are caught doing undercover work again they will face jail time Kat, 'Berto and Max Steel as Josh McGrath, return to civilian life. The only problem being that Josh will not be about to recharge like he use to as the T-juice machine has been blown beyond repair and can not be rebuildt due to the NTEK shutdown. Enter a new life for our team. Team Steel featuring returning extreme athlete Josh McGrath, newcomer to the scene Kat Ryan and their manager/ Mechanic 'Berto Martinez sponsered of course by NTEK the sports division.
　　On the first outing in this new venture together at the Radical Games, Josh discovers that one of his old friends is being threaten and appears to be into something illegal. So our team of ex-spies go undercover. Josh as Max Steel but with his t-juice levels at an all time low, will he survive long.
　　Team Steel team put a stop to the smuggling ring. So begins a new life as they become 'Team Steel' extreme athletes but to a select few aka the boss at NTEK they are still 'Team Steel for only deep, deep undercover assignments.
　　But who is Luke DeMarco? Is he a new or old enemy?
